I’ve been teaching in-person printmaking workshops at art centres and institutions across Australia for over a decade, including as a Lecturer in the Printmaking Department at the CAE in Melbourne. Whether working one-on-one or with a group, I find great joy in sharing the creative possibilities of printmaking. What level is the course suitable for?
This course is suitable for complete beginners and those with some experience in lino cutting.

You have instant access to this course once you have signed up. You will be provided an access password.

Do I have to work through the modules in order?
I suggest that you work through each module in order as this is how the workshop has been designed and you won’t miss important steps and hot tips.

Do I need all the supplies listed?
The basic list of materials is required to complete a linocut print for this class. I encourage you to purchase the best materials you can afford, especially the tools as these will last a lot longer.

Do I need a Printing Press?
No. For this introduction to linocut printing I take you through the process of hand printing with a baren.

Do I need high speed internet for the course?
You will need a good internet connection to view or download the video content.

Will there be an online community for this course?
You have an opportunity to ask questions within the class room. I don’t yet have an online community such as Facebook. If you are interested in this, please email me to discuss.
